NITEP – the Indigenous Teacher Education Program at UBC – is accepting applications for a Bachelor of Education offered in partnership with the Sqwá First Nation. Ideal for people who are working, this program offers evening classes in Chilliwack at the Sqwá First Nation Kw’ókw’etsxel Field Centre (opening September 2026). Note – this is a four-year degree program – all registrants need to know that they cannot work in the fourth year as this is the full-time professional year of the program.
